Delivered by expert facilitators and co-hosted by Benalla Rural City Council, this series offers free, practical training tailored to community needs.

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Having a current RSA Certificate is essential in Victoria for anyone serving, selling or supplying alcohol. This includes bartenders, waitstaff, event volunteers and other hospitality roles. Certificates are valid for three years and comply with legal requirements for licensed venues.
Who Needs an RSA Certificate?
- Staff working in licensed venues or events (bartenders, waitstaff, etc.)
- Security personnel and alcohol delivery drivers
- Volunteers at alcohol-serving licensed events

Attendance on all three days is required to complete this course.
This free course equips participants with the skills to prepare and serve high-quality coffee while adhering to essential food safety standards.
It covers two key units:
- SITXFSA005:ย Use hygienic practices for food safety
- SITHFAB025:ย Prepare and serve espresso coffee
All resources are provided. Participants will gain skills essential for roles in cafes, hospitality, and event environments.

Learn how to craft competitive grant applications in this free, hands-on session guided by experienced facilitator Sandy, using the Grantable framework.
Each workshop covers:
- Understanding grant basics
- Planning supporting documents
- Writing skills and techniques specific to community groups or teams
- Tools to plan and create your next grant application
Participants will leave with a detailed workbook and tips for future successes.
