A Local Development Strategy
The Future of Benalla & District is a two-year project seeking to understand our region, its people, strengths, assets, and opportunities for development.
The project will use the Smart Specialisation methodology to develop a strategy to support innovation and, economic development while building a resilient and sustainable community.
One of the attractions of Benalla, is its location.
We are an hour from the Murray River, an hour from Victoria’s High Country, with easy connection to Melbourne and Sydney on the Hume Highway and by rail.
